I've apparently been living in a bubble, because while I knew about "readers", I'd never used them and really didn't know how.
Yesterday, I decided to give it a try; and I set up Google Reader. Holy Crap, people, why isn't this talked about?!? Why don't they advertise this service over and over so it would have grabbed my attention earlier?!? Why have none of you out there in blogland shouted the praises of this thing so that I would have thought "hmmm... maybe I should check that out!" ?!?
Seriously- I think Google Reader is pretty fantastic! It's been about 24 hours and I'm sold. No more clicking through tabs to see who has posted an update. No more waiting for several tabs to load. Just new info, right there in front of me. Lined up nicely for me to read- no disappointment that my favorite bloggers haven't posted anything new (because really? If I don't open up a window and notice nothing is new, I think that using Google Reader will hep me to not realize who hasn't been updating. Did that even make sense?)
Folks, I urge you to simplify your lives. Save a few minutes waiting for multiple tabs to load. Try out Google Reader!
