So Swistle decided that a group effort Pay It Forward would be big fun this summer. All sorts of Pay It Forwards happening at the same time, then domino-ing and being a big fun summer fun thing... read about it here and here.
What will you win? Ummm.... I dunno. Maybe a collection of junk drawer/fabric stash/greeting card collection/Target. Maybe homemade cookies. Who knows? I'll figure that out and surprise you- I won't even post about your surprise so you can have fun opening your gift!

I intend to win, and am paying it forward by not yelling at you for giving crap away.
ReplyDeleteI would spend my Saturday painting. My house. Wow, I've just realized that my relaxation time is working hard. huh.
ReplyDeleteWait! wait! i would watch grey's anatomy. That's more girly. But only on breaks from the work.
Reading a book. Or taking a nap.
ReplyDeleteGo to the movies! A grown-up movie with a rating of PG-13 AT LEAST!
ReplyDeleteI'd take a real shower and then go to the bookstore for as long as I possibly could.
ReplyDeleteBubble bath with a glass of wine and a really trashy romance novel
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't exist in my world, so why torture myself fantisizing
ReplyDeleteOooh, read a book, then meet up with a friend for some browsing and a movie.
ReplyDeletefun fun fun
I'd want to drink alternating cups of coffee and iced tea while doing a whole stack of NYTimes Crossword puzzles!
ReplyDeleteGo for a run, get a pedicure, or take a nap. Or go for a run then get a pedicure and come home and take a nap.
ReplyDeleteRead a book, drink a glass of wine, take a nap.
ReplyDeleteNAP. For hours. Bliss.
ReplyDeleteWell I had the afternoon off today - library, clean the kitchen, watch dvds, read. Yeah the crazy never stops.
ReplyDeleteRead a good book!
ReplyDeleteI'd go to the mall--stroller and diaper bag free--and browse and shop all afternoon!
ReplyDeleteHmmm..play my tuba and clean my house.
ReplyDeletewell, i'd love to take a nap, but i'm sure i'd end up cleaning my house or editing photos. :)
ReplyDeletenap.
ReplyDeletethen maybe dink around on the computer.
Wow. An ENTIRE afternoon? I would straighten up my studio and then hide away in there. Probably working on some sewing projects. Perhaps do a little bit of painting. And then I'd head out and feed the unicorn on our front lawn. Because both an uninterrupted afternoon and a unicorn have something in common: TOTALLY MYTHICAL.
ReplyDeletea saturday by myself?! OMG that sounds magical...like can you just make that happen for me? yeah...seriously...i'd read and then i'd scrapbook or craft cards for a bit and then i'd honestly waste some time on the internet i'm sure!
ReplyDeleteIt would depend on the season- if it was college football season I would be watching my beloved Trojans. If not, probably Food Network.
ReplyDeleteI would lay in the grass, make jewelry, and eat some mexican food.
ReplyDeleteRead a book, scrapbook, go to lunch with my girlfriends...
ReplyDeleteI never never have a saturday to myself. An hour would be heaven for a super long hot shower!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Did you clean my house for me before you sent everyone away? That's the best, because I'm going to read a book and have a nap.
ReplyDeleteI would plan to clean but I'd probably go on the internet & read a book :)
ReplyDeleteTime to myself? What is this concept of which you speak? I would read. Or sleep. Or sew. Or write. Or sleep. Yes, sleep.
ReplyDeleteI'd say sleep but then I'd probably wander of to declutter the basement or something.
ReplyDeleteThe WHOLE afternoon? Wow. Ummm, mani/pedi, massage, maybe a bubble bath and definitely some good book reading!
ReplyDeleteYeah, wouldn't happen. But if, by some fluke in the universe, it did, I would get a pedicure, take a nap, hit the beach, read a book, take a cruise, and hire a maid. Oh...what? We don't have limited resources too? Crap.
ReplyDeleteRead, eat junk food, play computer games, wach a chick flick.
ReplyDeleteProbably read a book, take a nap, clean the house, go shopping, and not nessesarily in that order.
ReplyDeleteooooo! a day to myself? wow! i'd sleep in, read awhile in bed, go get a pedicure, go to the bookstore, go for a long walk....and eat lots of yummy stuff ALL DAY LONG. And then take a nap. And then eat again. :0) see a trend??
