I am alive, I promise. I know that I've been silent regarding this new venture of ours, and I am really sorry about it! I've recently returned to work and can't seem to figure out how to balance work, family, housework, and still find time to sew and blog. Unfortunately, the last two have been neglected.
Rita, I have a plan. I know exactly what I am going to do for your block! As of right now, I plan to sit down and do it on my next day off... Tuesday. It will be mailed in time, though, so no worries! I just (finally!) went through and made sure that I have everyone's blog address in my reader- it looks like Rita is going to have a fabulous quilt! Someone mentioned an idea of saving bits from everyone's fabrics to make a quilt combining all of them- I love this idea!
I just wanted to drop you all a note, letting you know that I'm really excited about this group- even if I've been too busy to type lately. I hope that everyone has a fantastic weekend, and that I can get Rita's block done this week!

ReplyDeleteno worries, blondie! my wife just went back to work after four years with the kids, so i understand firsthand what your life must be like right now! take your time ... no one's in any rush and this is supposed to be fun and relaxing, so don't put undue pressure on yourself! can't wait to see your finished block ...
